“Expansion plans for our hypermarket business are on track and we plan to open 25-30 stores by year end,” Sadashiv Nayak, president, Food Bazaar & Big Bazaar. Nayak commented on the expansion plans of Big Bazaar while speaking at Food Forum India 2009.
“Though a shift has been seen in the consumption pattern in India, we target a 30-35 per cent sales growth by June end,” he further added.
