FMCG major Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd, in association with Indian Dental Association (IDA), entered the Limca Book of Records with a National Record 2009 for otganising the largest campaign for oral health ‘Colgate Brush-up Challenge’ successfully. The campaign was launched in October 2007 as part of Colgate Oral Health Month, according to a company press release.
Speaking on this achievement, Prabha Parameswaran, vice president – marketing, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd said, “We are delighted to have entered the Limca Book of Records with ‘Colgate Brush-up Challenge’. Launched as part of Oral Health Month, our yearly campaign on promoting good oral care, this initiative reached children across the country who participated in the event and we hope this national recognition will spur people to adopt good oral care habits.”
Colgate-Palmolive offers oral care products with multiple benefits at various price points. The range includes toothpastes, toothpowder and toothbrushes under the Colgate brand as well as a specialized range of dental therapies under Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, added the release.
