Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt Ltd (MAPPL), a Delhi-based ayurvedic healthcare company, is planning to take its health clinics across the country through the franchise route. The company currently runs 11 clinics across the country.
Anand Shrivastava, chairman and managing director, MAPPL, said, “We are looking at aggressively expanding our network through the franchise route.” The company is looking at opening the first franchise outlet in next six months and targeting tier I, II and III cities to expand its presence across the country.
MAPPL began its journey in 1987 with its propriety product ‘Amrit Kalash’. Today, it has over 1,500 products covering herbal medicines, rasayanas, food supplements, beverages, personal care items and cosmetics, among other categories.
Of the company’s 11 health clinics in India, seven are located in Delhi-NCR. It also has its presence in over 40 countries across the globe, including the US, Canada and the UK.
