Kanakia Group’s multiplex chain Cinemax has recently entered Raipur with a five-screen multiplex at City Centre Mall. The multiplex has a total seating capacity of 1,055.
Cinemax CEO Sunil Punjabi says, “Raipur is a growing city with a vibrant culture, and hence an important market for Cinemax. We are pleased to enhance the entertainment options for people of Raipur. The movie-loving audience will enjoy our cutting-edge technology and world-class facilities.”
He stresses that Cinemax plans to grow its footprint across the country and attain leadership position in the multiplex industry.
The multiplex chain currently has 107 operational screens, including five in Raipur, in 33 locations across the country and a seating capacity of 27,839.
