Bata, one of the leading footwear retailers and manufacturers in India, has recently opened a large-format store in Ludhiana. Located at Westend Mall, the store occupies an area of 4,500 sq.ft and showcases a wide variety of stylish footwear for men and women, along with a whole new range of fashion accessories.
Bata has been constantly expanding its retail footprint across India and plans to launch many large-format stores in the next few years. “We plan to open over 60 stores every year and continue to increase store density in tier II & III markets across the country,” Marcelo Villagran, MD, Bata India Ltd, said after a store launch in Delhi a few days ago.
Bata currently has over 1,200 stores in India.
