Software company Infor announces new CFO and COO

Infor, one of the leading providers of business application software, has recently announced Kevin Samuelson and Pam Murphy as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, respectively.

Charles Phillips, CEO, Infor said: “I am excited to promote two executives who have contributed greatly to Infor’s success and bring significant experience, great track records and a deep understanding of the company and our industry to their new roles.”

Samuelson has replaced retiring CFO Raj Rajaji, who will remain with the company for six months to ensure a smooth transition.

“I also want to thank Raj for his four years of service and acknowledge the great work that he has done at Infor. We wish him all the best in a well-deserved retirement,” said Phillips.

Samuelson, a graduate from University of California at Berkeley, has been serving the company since 2002 as lead for Info’s acquisition and integration team. He has completed more than 40 strategic acquisitions, raised more than UD$ 5 bn in financing, and helped the company grow from US$ 40 mn to nearly US$ 2 bn in annual revenue. Before joining Infor, Samuelson held equity research positions at Robertso Stephens and Bank of America Securities.

Murphy, a graduate of business and accounting from the University of Cork, Ireland and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, joined Infor in December 2010 as senior vice president of operations. As COO, her role will be expanded to include human resources and legal functions in addition to her current responsibilities. Before this, she has spent 11 years at Oracle Corporation, where she was responsible for a wide range of operational and financial functions. Prior to joining Oracle, Murphy worked for Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen.

Infor has presence in 164 countries with more than 70,000 customers to improve operations and drive growth.
