The fashion label Kara by designers Farah and Firdos has recently launched in Tassel Fashion & Lifestyle Awards 2014, recently held in Mumbai. It showcased the collections from the designers who have worked for the upliftment of weavers. They dedicated their collection to the weavers of Bhagalpur. Hrishita Bhatt was the showstopper for Kara and Kavitta Verma walked the ramp for Gautami Dange.
Tassel Awards was started in 2007 by Vivek Gautam who is the Director of the company. Gautam endeavours to develop a platform to promote the talent of budding designers. The Awards are also given to veterans and young achievers from the lifestyle, health and fitness, hair and beauty fields.
