Disney India’s retail arm has planned to expand its product line by introducing adult fashion category. The company estimates that by venturing into teh adult fashion category they would double the contribution of this segment to one-fifth of its total revenue over the next three years. The company is also focusing on expanding its presence amongst the top 50 cities across the country.
Roshini Bakshi, Vice President and Head of Consumer Products, Retail, Publishing and Franchise Marketing, Disney India, in a recent media interaction, said, “Globally, around 40 percent of our revenues is derived from the fashion category. In India also we are trying to focus on expanding our product range and partnerships in the adult apparel segment and also accessories segment”.
