As per a report by Sathguru Management Consultants on India’s Frozen Food category, the retail market for frozen food has a potential to grow at CAGR of 20.5% for the next five years from Rs 3,650 million in 2012 to Rs 9,300 million in 2017. The frozen food market for the food service segment promises an even better opportunity. Estimated to be Rs 6,350 million in 2012, it will expand at a CAGR of 26.6 percent to reach Rs 20,600 million by 2017. It is anticipated that technology, macroeconomic environment, and food consumption habits will catalyse the industry’s progression.
