Delhi-based scented shoes brand Scentra, plans to get into offline distribution and enter new product categories such as bags and garments.
“After testing the market for more than a year, we are now looking at a full fledged retail foray. By second half of next fiscal, we will at set up our brick and mortar stores. We also plan to set up 10 Scentra House kiosk outlets by end of this year,” Scentra founder & Managing Director Karan Vij told PTI.
Scentra will open its retail stores in Delhi, Pune, Chandigarh and Mumbai. Plans are also afoot to sell shoes through MBOs by next fiscal.
Launched in October 2014, Scentra retails products through its own website as well as online marketplaces such as Jabong, Amazon and Snapdeal. The shoes are designed in California and manufactured in Spain”We are planning to enter new product categories such as bags and garments but it will take time. Right now we are looking at expanding our shoes portfolio to 100 products from 40 at present,” Vij said. Scentra offers shoes for men, women and kids in the price range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,700.
