Balinese massage therapy, having its origin in the Indonesian province of Bali, is one of the traditional massage techniques meant to cure a wide variety of complaints. This technique includes acupressure, skin rolling and flicking, firm and gentle stroking, percussion, and aromatherapy. Essential oils scented with striking aromas of jasmine, rose, lavender or sandal wood are used to relax the worn-out nerves and muscles. The combination of manual therapy and aromatherapy is intended not only to relax the patient and loosen fascial restrictions, but to stimulate the lymphatic systemand the flow of blood and ‘qi’ (energy). The duration is 60 minutes and the price is Rs. 2500 (exclusive of tax).
