BigStylist raises funds from Info Edge

Mumbai-based beauty and wellness startup, BigStylist has raised $ 1million from Info Edge. The marketplace of BigStylist enables clients to get access to renowned hair and make-up artists across the country and can place orders for beauty and wellness related products. Founded by IIT, Kharagpur graduates, Richa Singh, Chinmaya Sharma and Anurag Srivastava, the team of BigStylist currently comprises of 25 people and connected to around 200 beauticians. Commenting on the ocassion, Chinmaya said, “Initially, we push the utilitarian services to our customers as it is easier to initiate a trial there. Once the customer has experienced us for the basic services, we find it easier to upgrade them to value-added services as well as convert them towards repeat customers.”
