Ethnic wear retailer Neeru’s has opened its fifth franchisee store in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh at the city’s Laxmipuram Road. The store was inaugrated by tollywood actor Regina Cassandra.
With this opening, the store count of Neeru’s has reached 42 outlets across several prominent locations in south India.
The newly launched outlet retails a wide range of options from menswear, womenswear, kidswear and fashion accessories. The family store also showcases signature designs by promoters Harish Kumar and Neeru Kumar. Their designs are best reflected in the wedding collections, which are endorsed by Bollywood actor Karishma Kapoor.
It was in 1971 that Harish Kumar, Chairman and MD, Neeru’s, started his journey in Hyderabad, joining his mother in her business and marking the beginning of Neeru’s to offer tailoring and embroidery services of superior and intricate designs.
Since then, he has accelerated growth, built a meritocracy and enhanced brand value, making it a Rs 200-crore plus brand in the field of ethnic wear. Kumar plans to expand the brand’s presence in other fashion hubs of South India and also pan-India.
The company is planning to open two more franchisee stores in Tirupati and Kurnool district.
