Dr. Paul G Swan has extensive experience in development and operational delivery of strategies for wool production and textile research, education, and commercialisation in Australia and overseas. Dr. Swan is a doctorate of philosophy in wool science, and a bachelor of science in wool and pastoral science from the University of New South Wales. In addition, he is chair of the St Anthony’s Parish Pastoral Council, and deputy chair of Peter Westblade Scholarship Inc, a private charity supporting the mentoring and skill development for young entrants to the Australian wool industry.
