Manjilas Group, the manufacturer of ‘Double Horse’ brand of Kerala ethnic foods, has added one more product to its health product portfolio with the launch of multi- grain flakes cereal.
The ready-to-eat breakfast cereal was officially launched by renowned actress and brand ambassador Shobana in Thrissury.
“At Manjilas, we have always strived to come up with food products that are tasty and healthy at the same time. Unfortunately, the trend of skipping breakfast – the most important meal of the day – is on the rise as people have to rush to their office or school early and have no time to eat. A wholesome, ready-in-a-few-seconds breakfast like multi-grain flakes cereal can be an ideal meal for everyone,” Chairman, Double Horse – Manjilas, Sajive Manjila, said in a company statement.
Made out of corn, wheat and ragi, the cereals are priced at Rs.80 for 200 gms. They will be available in stores from Mid April 2016.
In the last six months, the company has launched a wide range of products like idiyappam powder, honey, corn idiyappam, ragi idiyappam, wheat idiyappam and prawn chammanthi podi.
