Burberry just released a new holiday campaign video detailing the life of the brand’s creator, Thomas Burberry, starring Domhnall Gleeson, Lily James, Sienna Miller, and Dominic West.
The British fashion house Burberry, which known for its beige trench coats and signature check print, has released a fictionalised account of the founder’s story and is directed by Asif Kapadia. Kapadia won an Oscar for the documentary, Amy.
The video celebrates Thomas Burberry, and in particular, his invention of the weatherproof fabric gaberdine, which was a revolutionary creation at the time.
The video marks the beginning of the brand’s Christmas campaign.
